IMPROVED TRIMMER METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR SAWMILLS ABSTRACT The invention discloses a sawmill trimming and routing assembly which comprises first conveyor means for transferring a timber from a first location to a second location, means for moving the timber from the second location to a second conveyor means, and means cooperating with the second conveyor for rotating the timber from a first position to a second position. Loader means moves the timber from the second position to a third stationary position, a saw assembly for trimming the ends of the timber includes at least two rotatable saw blades, and a means transfers the trimmed timber to a third conveyor means. The invention also includes a novel and inventive method for routing timbers in the foregoing assembly.
