ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Indoloisoquinaoline derivatives of the formula, Image wherein R1 and R4 are each hydrogen, a halogen, nitro or a lower alkoxy and R2 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl, a lower alkenyl, a C3 - C6 cylcloalkyl C1-C3 alkyl or a group of the formula, Image or -A-O-B wherein A is a C1-C7 alkylene, R3 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl, a lower alkenyl, a C3-C6-cycloalkyl C1-3 alkyl or a group of the formula Image or -A-O-B wherein A is a straight or branched C1-7 alkylene, R5 and R6 are each hydrogen or a lower alkyl, or, when taken together with the adjacent nitrogen atom, form a morpholine ring and B is hydrogen, a lower both R1 and R4 are hydrogen and R3 is methyl, then R2 can not be hydrogen, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, have potent anti-tumor activities.
