ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An electrophotographic printing machine in which the electrical characteristics of the processing stations employed therein are regulated. The instantaneous condition of the photoconductive member is simulated and measured. An electrical signal describing the state of the simulated photoconductive member is generated and employed to control the electrical parameters of the various processing stations in the printing machine. The foregoing abstract is not intended to define the invention disclosed in the specification, nor is it intended to be limiting as to the scope of the invention in any way.
