"CONVERSION OF CARBON MONOXIDE, HYDROCARBONS AND OXIDES OF NITROGEN CONTAINED IN EXHAUST GASES FROM AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE" ABSTRACT A process for the continuous and simultaneous conversion of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides contained in hot exhaust gases from an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The hot exhaust gases are passed in contact with a catalytic composite compris- ing a platinum-rhodium or palladium-rhodium catalyst pro- moted by uranium in intimate admixture therewith and dis- persed on a porous alumina surface. .
