CARTON BLANK WITH PRODUCT REGISTERING TAB ABSTRACT A paperboard blank for forming a carton on a horizontal top- loading (HTL) packaging machine. The carton blank has a trailing edge product registering tab between a pair of side portions of its trailing bottom end flap. A pusher lug on the packaging machine engages the tab and folds it up against the product or engages the edge of the tab and the product for maintaining the product in proper position on the bottom panel of the carton blank as it moves through the HTL machine which forms the carton around the product.
