EXTRUDED FILM AND METHOD Abstract of Disclosure -- A self-supporting, elastomeric and thermoplastic film not above about 10 mils in thickness and based upon thermoplastic A-B-A block copolymer elastomers, or mixtures of these block copolymers with sim- ple A-B block copolymers, together with low molecular weight resins adapted to associate principally with the thermoplastic A-blocks of the block copolymers and having a number average molecular weight not above about 3,000. This film is elastic and highly flexible and possesses a low modulus and the ability to be heat sealed to paper at low temperatures. The process of this invention involves extruding the film from a melt of the above materials. The amount of A-block associating resins is such that Brabender torque change is controlled to assure processing stability and product consistency.
