-13- "GROUND WORKING IMPLEMENT AND DISC GANG TRIPPING MECHANISM THEREFOR" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Individual disc gangs in a ground working implement such as a disc cultivator or the like, are hinged to the main frame for hinging movement rearwardly from the direction of travel. Each disc gang has a trip mechanism so that if any of the gangs encounter an obstruction, the individual gang trips and then returns to the preset position thus eliminating damage to the disc and/or gang as well as preventing the machine from being lifted as the disc encounters the obstruction.
