ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE One-pot process for producing thiazoline-2-thiones by reacting corresponding aminoethanols with thionylchloride, heating the resulting product and reacting it subsequently with carbon disulphide. The thiazoline-2-thiones correspond to the formulae (1) Image Image (2) in which R1 to R5 represent hydrogen or various hydrocarbon or substituted hydrocarbon radicals, and R6 represents alkylene or phenylene. The compounds are useful as vulcanization accelerators for polychloroprene rubbers.
