ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Conventionally, resilient straps are provided with a hook at each end and are used as tie-down straps for various purposes. These normally do not have any means for adjustment so that a variety of sizes is required to suit certain circum- stances. The present device consists of a hook formed from spring steel wire or the like and having an angulated other end adapted to receive a flat resilient strap of elastomeric material, in an adjustable manner, and to clamp same at the desired posi- tion on the strap against slippage during extension and use of the strap. The angulated other end includes a cross bar extend- ing perpendicularly from said hook portion and a closed loop portion spaced from said cross bar defining a strap engaging open side space between said first cross bar and said closed loop.
