PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention a pour objet de nouveaux indo- les substitués de formule I: (I) Image dans laquelle -R1 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alcoyle renfermant de 1 à 8 atomes de carbone ou un radical alcoxy renfermant de 1 à 8 atomes de carbone, R2, en position 2, 3 ou 4, représente un atome d'halogène, un radical trifluorométhyle, ou un radical alcoxy renfermant de 1 à 8 atomes de carbone, -A représente soit un radical alcoyle linéai- re de formule (CH2)n, n représente un nombre entier alcoyle linéaire de 2 à 5, soit un radical alcoyle ramifié renfermant de 3 à 5 atomes de carbone, et, ou bien R3 et R4 identiques ou différents représentent un radical alcoyle renfermant de 1 à 8 atomes de carbone, ou bien R3 et R4 forment ensemble avec l'atome d'azote un radical hétérocyclique choisi parmi les radicaux pyrrolidi- nyle ou morpholinyle, ainsi que de leurs sels d'addition avec les acides pharmaceutiquement acceptables,et leur procédé de préparation. Lesdits indoles possèdent une activité analgé- sique remarquable.
