ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A disposable filter cell for use in household furnace or the like utilizes a single blank of cardboard for forming a frame for a filter mat and to support discharge face of the mat. The inlet face of the mat is held in the frame by two straight diagonal rods tucked under the upstream flange of the frame at the corners thereof. The cell presents considerable simplification. and thus reduction in material and production costs of disposable filter cells.
