ABSTRACT New insecticides of the formula Image wherein R1 is either a) alpha-loweralkylbenzyl in which the phenyl ring may be substituted by a halogen atom, of b] a group of the formula Image in which R2 and R3 are the same or different and are selected from hydrogen or lower alkyl or one of R2 and R3 is hydrogen and the other is -CH-CR4R5 in which R4 and R5 are identical radicals selected from lower alky) and halogen, are described and shown to control a broad spectrum of insects, including acarids.
