ABSTRACT There are described salts id 1,3-bis(2-carboxychromon-5- yloxy)propan-2-ol with a basic compound which has anti-histamine H1 receptor antagonist properties and which contains a 6 membered nitrogen heterocyclic ring, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising (a) one or more of 1,3-bis(2-carboxychromon-5-yloxy)propan-2-ol, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, in combination with (b) one or more anti-histamines having H1 receptor antagonist properties, and which contains a 6 membered nitrogen heterocyclic ring. There are also described methods of making the salts and composition, packages containing them and methods for their use, e.g. as anti-allergic agents.
