Absract Novel halogen-substituted N-phenyl-N'-benzoylureas of the formula Image wherein R1 is a C2-C3-alkenyl group, or a C2-C3-alkenyl group monosubstituted with chlorine, R2 and R3 are halogen, and R4 is hydrogen or halogen; processes for producing these compounds, as well as compositions containing them, for use in combating pests, especially in combating insects which infest plants and animals. The novel compounds also have an action inhibiting insects damaging plants by eating, and some of the compounds are ovicidally and larvicidally effective.
