STEAM-PRODUCING CURLING IRON Abstract of the Disclosure A steam-producing curling iron comprising a tubular barrel having a handle at one end and a reservoir at the other end. An electrically-heated heating member is slidable within the barrel into and out of engagement with a stationary wick communicating with the reservoir. When the heating member con- tacts the wick, steam is produced within the barrel which flows out through holes in the barrel and is applied to hair wound around the barrel. A lever pivotally mounted on the handle is manipulated to move the heating member.
