PROCESS FOR PREPARING ETHYLENE- CARBON MONOXIDE COPOLYMERS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE High melting ethylene-carbon monoxide copolymers are prepared by copolymerizing ethylene and carbon monoxide at relatively low temperatures and pressures using a peroxy dicarbonate catalyst. The preferred catalysts are dicyclo- hexylperoxydicarbonate and dicetylperoxydicarbonate.
