THERMOPLASTIC POLYAMIDE COMPOSITIONS Abstract of the Disclosure Tough polyamide molding compositions, which are simultane- ously distinguished by high hardness degrees and good elongation and stiffness properties, are obtained by mixing amorphous poly- amides having second order transition temperatures of more than 100°C with ionic copolymers of .alpha.-olefins and salts of .alpha.,.beta.-un- saturated carboxylic acids containing ions of mono- to tri- valent metals; the amount of the ionic copolymer being from 0.5 to 20 weight % of the total mixture.
