SPEED RETARDER CONTROL SYSTEM Abstract of the Disclosure The speed retarder control system includes a plurality of solenoid valves and reducing valves so arranged to receive pres- sure influenced hydraulic fluid and release said hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic fluid responsive vehicle retarder at a substantial- ly lower pressure. The fluid pressure experienced by the retarder can be incrementially varied to result in varying degrees of vehicle retardation.
