Abstract A window frame comprises a plurality of hollow elongated extruded plastics frame members connected to one another at right angles by plastics junction pieces, each junc- tion piece having a body portion and spigots projecting from the body portion at right angles to one another so as to be a tight push fit in the open ends of the frame members, internal tie members passing longitudinally through the frame members and through the junction pieces to increase the rigidity of the assembled structure.
