ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Use of an antioestrogen and an antigonadotropically active antiandrogen in a weight ratio of antioestrogen to anti- androgen of substantially 2:1 to 1:10 for the prophylaxis and therapy of prostate hyperplasia, and pharmaceutical preparations and packs suitable for such use comprising an antioestrogen and an antigonadotropically active antiandrogen in the aforesaid weight ratio. The antioestrogen is, for example, Tamoxifen, Nafoxidin or Mer 25. The antigonadotropically active anti- androgen is preferably a steroid having antiandrogen and gestagenic properties.
