ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Graft polymers are prepared by the polymerization of at least 60% by weight of indene with no more than 40% by weight of a chlorinated rubber copolymer of from 95 to 99% by weight isobutylene and from 1 to 5% by weight of isoprene. The graft polymers so obtained are thermoplastic and have unexpectedly high heat-distortion temperatures and excellent impact resistance.
