ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel implantation material is provided herein. lt comprises a polymeric base of an acrylate, a polymethacrylate, a copolymer of an acrylate and a methacrylate or a mixture thereof, and 5 -35%0 by weight of resorbable tricalcium phosphate of a particle size of 50 - 300 µm, and an available pore vlume of less rhan 0.1 m1/g. This implantation material has sufficient stability, e.g., to withstand stresses, commencing directly after introduction into tho body, and which also has a good long- term stability by thc ability to form a firm bond with the surrounding bone tissue i? a short period of time.
