CRYSTALLINE BOROSILICATE (AMS-1B) AND PROCESS USE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A new crystalline borosilicate composition of matter and process using it wherein the composition is expressed as mole ratios of oxides as follows: 0.9 ? 0.2 M2/nO : B2O3 : YSiO2 : ZH2O wherein M is at least one cation, n is the valence of the cation, Y is generally a value of from about 4 to about 500 or higher, and Z is a value of from 0 to about 160, and characterized by a specified X-ray powder diffraction pattern as is described herein. Catalytic conversion including processes such as isomerization, disproportionation, or trans- alkylation are also disclosed.
