ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bottle carrier with a body with a plurality of spaced means for receiving and retaining the enlarged neck- shoulders of bottles, and a bottle separator attached to the body by hinged legs in the same plane as the body so as to permit the extension of the legs to a position vertical to the body during the loading of bottles into the bottle carrier so that the bottle separator prevents contact between the body portions of bottles held in the carrier.
