ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multi-conductor electrical cable. Wherein the conductors are individually insulated with an ethylene containing polymer including a halogen containing flame retardant such as decabromobiphenyl ether. Filler strips of styrene butadiene copolymer filled with hydrated alumina occupy the interstices between the insulated conductors. An enclosing jacket preferably is further provided. The cable is characterized by a high degree of resistance to flame and combustion.
