ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In the preparation of fat-containing food products wherein the dry ingredients are mixed together with a fat or oil, solid particles of dry ice, of geometrically uniform shape and size (e.g. pellets of dry ice) are added to the mixer in an amount sufficient to maintain the fat or oil in crystalline form during the mixing process, thereby rendering the final mixed product free-flowing and homogeneous.
