ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved method is disclosed for the preparation of an isocyanato-isocyanurate solution which is storage stable, by trimerization of aliphatic or cycloaliphatic isocyanate with aziridine or derivative thereof as catalyst and a trialkylamine as co-catalyst, the improvement being termination of the trimerization when desired by destruction of the catalyst by thermal treatment at 80-200°C with simultaneous or subsequent separation of the co-catalyst by distillation. Novel isocyanato-isocyanurates are also disclosed.
