PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Synthese de mercaptans par la réaction photochimique d'une oléfine avec de l'hydrogène sulfuré en présence d'un initiateur. L'initiateur est constitué par la benzophénone, la thiobenzophénone ou par un mélange des deux, de préférence additionné d'un composé organique d'un élément du groupe VA de la Classification Périodique. Ces initiateurs peuvent porter des substituants dans un ou les deux noyaux benzéniques. La lumière utilisée peut avoir une longueur d'onde de 300 à 600nm. Le procédé permet l'obtention de différents mercap- tans avec de bons rendements.
