Abstract of the Disclosure: Inhalator for treating breathing passages includes a closed liquid container disposed at an elevated location, a distributor element disposed at a location below the elevated location, a siphon line connecting the liquid container to the distributor element so as to supply liquid thereto, oscillating means oper- atively associated with the distributor element for effecting a comminution of liquid supplied to the distributor element, a compressed air pump, and means connecting the compressed air pump to the closed liquid container for delivering a compressed air pulse to the closed liquid container so as to introduce therein a subsequently automatically transpiring siphoning opera- tion.
