Abstract Amino derivatives of imidazo[4,5-b]pyridines having the general formula: Image are disclosed. The novel compounds are useful as central nervous system depressants and antiinflammatory agents. In addition, the new compounds increase the intracellular concentration of adenosine 3',5'-cyclic-monophosphate.
