9361 ABSTRACT An insulating housing has a row of passageways each receiving an electrical terminal having a mating portion in the passageway and a crimping portion which is outside the passageway, a tine projecting from the terminal between its mating portion and its crimping portion engaging a wall of the housing to prevent further insertion of the terminal into the passageway. Each tine is curled over to lie wholly within the cross-section of the corresponding passageway, by means of a die which simultaneously crimps each crimping portion to a conductor of a cable, after which the terminals are pushed home into the passageways.
