ABSTRACT: A box formed from two pivotably connected parts, an insert of a synthetic resin being placed in each of the box parts. In order to hide the hinges, each insert com- prises an edge portion projecting outside each box part. Said edge portions are shaped so that in the opened con- dition of the box they enclose a slot so that in the opened position of the box the pivotably co-operating edges of the box parts and the hinges themselves are hidden from view.
