ABSTRACT A polymerizate containing a copolymer of tetrahydrofuran and ethylene oxide, the copolymer containing 2-70%, by weight, of alkylene oxides and having a number average molecular weight of 500-5,000 and a hydroxyl functionality of 2.0-4.0, the poly- merizate containing no more than about 3%, by weight of oligomeric cyclic ethers, is disclosed. The poly- merizate is useful in the manufacture of polyurethane.
