Buell ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved tape fastener system for stronger securement of a tape fastener to corners of a disposable diaper, especially for diapers having relatively weak and/or extensible members. The tape fastener system has several elements which are parallel and are attached to the front and back surface of the diaper. The tape has a generally Y-shaped cross-section with two legs fastened to a back corner of the diaper and the third leg available to attach to a front corner of the diaper.
