ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to novel coating agents based on mono- and/or poly- urethanes melting below 150°C for expandable particulate styrene polymers. These agents have no detrimental effect on the styrene polymers, lead to very fast-cooling moldings showing uniform density distribution throughout and good fusion, and give higher space/time yields during prefoaming.
