ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a pharmaceutical preparation useful for the treatment of menopausal disturbed functions in female human beings, the preparation comprising oestradiol or a derivative thereof in admixture or conjunction with oestriol or a derivative thereof. In one particular form, the invention provides a pharmaceutical pack useful for the treatment of menopausal disturbed functions in female human beings, the pack comprising discrete first and second parts, the first part being for administering to the female human being on each 21 successive days and the second part being for administering to the female human being on the following seven successive days, the first part comprising oestradiol or a derivative thereof in admixture or conjunction with oestriol or a derivative thereof and the second part being hormone-free or comprising oestriol or a derivative thereof.
