ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A package blank has successive portions which constitute the front wall, bottom, back wall, lid back wall, lid top surface and lid front wall, with side flaps which are overlapped in the completed package and form the side wall. The side flaps adjacent the front wall, the lid front wall, and the lid top surface, and that are the outer overlapping side flaps in the completed package are made of a width corresponding to the width of the side wall of the completed package, while the innermost of the overlapping side flaps are made with a narrower width dimension, so that the blank has a wide part and a narrow part. This reduces waste, as the blanks may be cut from packaging material in such manner that the narrow part of one blank is rested closely adjacent the wide part of an adjacent blank.
