ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This application is directed to a matrix disc for photocomposition. The disc bears characters in concentric arrays, the characters in adjacent arrays being aligned with one another along a line tangent to a circle concentric with said arrays and having a diameter substantially less than that of said disc. The disc includes a hub area located centrally on the disc and having a substantial area, and the said circle is of greater diameter than the hub area of the disc.
