ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A drain trap comprising a plurality of flat water conveying plates provided with fine clearances between adjacently arranged plates and securely fixed radially through ribs, at the lower part of said water conveying plates, another water conveying plate of a Y-shape in section having a water gathering passage and provided with fine clearances between the Y-shaped arms thereof and said oppositely arranged flat plates, said oppositely arranged plates and said Y-shaped plate being securely fixed to one another through another ribs, the narrow end of the assembled plates being tightly engaged within a drain pipe through packing material.
