"SWATH COLLECTING DEVICE " ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Swath collecting devices used behind pull-type swathers include a pick up conveyor between the conveyors of a central delivery pull-type swather which often clogs if heavy or wet crops are transferred. In this device, a beater assembly is provided which compresses the swath and urges it rearwardly onto the swath collecting device. This swath collecting device is driven by an orbital hydraulic motor in either direction and at any selected speed so that the desired control is available for all conditions. The beater assembly is also driven by an orbital motor so that the speed thereof is controllable also.
