Abstract of the Disclosure "IMPROVEMENTS IN AND RELATING TO PRDDUCTS" A process for manufacturing a carrier for an active entity by neutralising titanium tetrachloride to precipitate TiO2 which is dried and then heated to prcduce a carrier having a hardness of 85 to 100, a bulk density of greater than 1.0 grams per millilitre, a specific surface area of from 0.6 to 2 square metres per gram and at least 90% of its TiO2 in the rutile form. The carrier is particularly useful for supporting enzymes or vanadium pentoxide. -1-
