Abstract An insertion device for booking machines, comprising two input funnels for record carriers, the said funnels arranged above the printing roller being laterally displaceable on guide rails over the full printing width after the release of a lock and two further adjacently arranged funnels which are mounted underneath the printing roller and which serve to support the reading and recording devices and the transport devices, locking devices being provided whereby the upper funnels can be coupled to the associated lower funnels.
