A B R I D G M E N T ABSTRACT A conveyor belt is provided with rollers arranged to be driven by the belt and to project to one side of the belt. Pusher means are associated with the belt in the region of the rollers, so that an article on the belt may be pushed on to the projecting lengths of the rollers which, by their rotation, will carry the article away to, say, another conveyor or a chute.
