ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel process is disclosed for the manufacture of a one-component, room-temperature vulcanizable silicone composition which comprises passing a silanol chain stopped polydiorganosiloxane, a cross-linking silane and a silanol reactive organometallic ester compound of a metal through a devolatilizing extruder to form a one- component, room-temperature vulcanizable silicone composition.
