ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosure herein describes a weatherstrip support which comprises: an elongated base member made of rigid plastic material and having an inner face adapted to engagedly fit over the frame of a window, door or the like, and an outer face having formed therein a longitudinally extending groove; and at least one weatherstrip element which consists of an elongated body made of semi-rigid plastic material, the body extending outwardly from the outer face and having at least one longitudinal edge fixedly secured to the outer face next to the groove so that, should the weatherstrip element become defective, a substitute weatherstrip element may be engagedly inserted in the groove in replacement of the defective weatherstrip element.
