ABSTRACT Substituted 4-amino-3-thio-as-triazin-5(4H)- ones and their use in herbicidal compositions are dis- closed. Particularly disclosed are compounds of the formula: Image wherein R1 is H, alkyl, naphthyl, benzyl, phenyl or substituted aralkyl, R2 and R3 are each separately H, alkyl or phenyl, or R2, R3 and the nitrogen atom taken together form morpholino, piperidino or pyrrolidino, and R4 is alkyl, benzyl, allyl, carboalkoxy or carboalkoxy alkyl. The compounds possess herbicidal activity against a wide spectrum of annual monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds. BA-2672
