ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A lawn or garden chair having a generally rigid frame and seat which can be folded for compact storage and which has an adjustable back for additional comfort. The back is pivotally connected via the arm rest to pivotally mounted front legs and via a link member to the rear of the side frames. The rear legs are pivotally mounted on the side frames for movement between an erected position and a storage position between the frames.
