Abstract of the Disclosure Use of symmetrical triarylphosphites of the general formula I Image (I) wherein R1 is tert.-butyl, 1,1-dimethylpropyl, cyclohexyl or phenyl, and one of R2 and R3 is hydrogen and the other is hydrogen, methyl, tert.- butyl, 1,1-dimethylpropyl, cyclohexyl or phenyl, in combination with phenolic antioxidants for stabilising organic polymers which contain hetero atoms, double bonds or aromatic rings.
