Abstract Novel substituted N-4-(3-bromoallyloxy)-phenyl-N'- benzoylureas of the formula Image wherein R1 and R2 independently of one another are each hydrogen, chlorine or bromine, R3 is fluorine or chlorine, and R4 is hydrogen, fluorine or chlorine, processes for producing these compounds, as well as compositions containing them, for use in combating pests, particularly in combating insects which infest plants and animals. The novel compounds have a strong toxic and/or development- inhibiting action in particular against larval stages of insects which damage plants.
