ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bridge top end stop for slide fasteners is provided for preventing a slider from running off of the upper end of the slide fastener, which top stop has a substantially horse- shoe-shaped body including a channel or opening through which a beaded edge of a fastener tape is threaded to position the top stop on the fastener. The top stop body is secured to- gether into positive engagement with the beaded edge, where- upon the channel is completely filled up by the beaded edge.
